Tour tickets on sale right after Super Bowl, LN CEO confirms

On January 23rd MadonnaTribe broke the news about the imminent announcement of the 2012 Madonna Tour, exclusively reporting that the official Tour announcement is taking place two days after the Super Bowl, with tickets for the first announced concerts going on sale immediately afterwards.

For those who like to hear it from the horse’s mouth, here is what Michael Rapino, president and chief executive of Live Nation Entertainment told the Los Angeles Times earlier this week;

“Madonna’s going on the road, and those tickets will go on sale right after the Super Bowl. If you have one or two of those giant tours, it keeps the industry level where you want it.”
