Winner #1 – Sanne Schonberger
Hi MadonnaTribe,
I have the perfect LUV-story for you! I’m a 25-year old female Madonna fan from Holland. In 2008 I decided to go to see Madonna perform in Paris, Stade de France. I went on this organised bustrip with one of my friends and met a lot of amazing people during the trip.
One of the amazing people I met, became the love of my life! I’ve always had boyfriends but this time I met an amazing and lovely woman during my Madonna-trip. We shared some good laughs and lovely times in Paris. Once we arrived back home in Holland we started to write emails, call each other, until we felt we had developed something more then just a beautiful Madonna-friendship, we fell in love.
Now, almost 4 years later, we are returning to the city of love where we found love for each other, to see our queen perform live again.
Without the passion for Madonna, I would have never met the love of my life in this beautiful city. I am forever greatful to Madonna for all the joy and happiness she brings into my life, and for meeting the love of life!”
With kind regards,
Sanne schonberger
Winner #2 – Patricia Morris
My story is short.
When I was 17, many years ago, I went to Italy on an exchange holiday.
Our hosts arranged different things for us to do, one event was at a
disco one evening, and I saw the most beautiful boy. Into the Groove
came on, it had just been released, and he asked me to dance….. We did
a bit of snogging in the cloak room, and the next day we spent the
whole day together, mostly kissing, as teenagers do! When it came to
leave, it was heartbreaking.
After a few days of being home, he sent me a letter, in it he wrote,
“wanna get to know you in a special way, this doesn’t happen to me
every day”.
We kept in touch for a while, and then we just stopped. I still have
his photo, and still think about Fabio, my first holiday
romance….

Winner #3 – Ricky Greaves
My entry for your exciting W.E. contest.
On a weekend night out dancing with friends in a local nightclub, mid
1998, I was reunited with an ex-girfriend from my childhood. At that
time she was the love of my “addolesent” life. While we were chatting
over drinks, the D.J. played a Madonna song that was to became one of
my favorites of all time. I was pulled onto my feet and we danced to
it laughing and singing along. This memory will stick in my mind
forever.We had an amazing time.
It wasn’t untill a few years later that I came out as a gay man and
found the love of my life. He didn’t share my love of Madonna music
but he came with me when I got tickets to the 2006 Confessions Tour in
London.
At one point on the introduction to a song Madonna demaned ;-
“I want everybody’s hands up in the air.”
“I want you to wave them like you just do care.”
“Now I wanna see everybody jumping! Come on, lift your feet up off the
ground. Let’s Go.”
“I wanna see this whole building jumpin'”
“I wanna see all of London jumpin'”
“I wanna see the whole world jumpin'”
“Come on Mother Fuckers”
We jumed around for the whole song like everybody else in Wembley
Arena did we had such a great time Jumping to “Ray of Light” and half
way through the song he grabbed my hand and gave it a tight, firm,
discrete squeeze ,that made my heart skip a beat!
This may not be the most romantic story about how Madonnas music has
affected someones LUV life but everytime i hear the song I get
goosebumps and depending on my mood , sometimes I shed a tear at how “happy I was at that moment in time”
