”W.E.” release date pushed back in Italy and Germany

The release of “W.E.” in some European territories is being pushed back and the German and Italian audience will not have a chance to see Madonna’s new directorial effort in cinemas soon.

Originally scheduled for a January release, “W.E.” will hit cinemas in Italy after the Oscars, and it is currently scheduled for a release in April 2012, MadonnaTribe can report.

In Germany, distributor Senator Film verleih is now releasing the film in cinemas on July 3rd, our friends at madonnafanclub.eu learnt.

It seems that the best way for those from those territories to get into the “W.E.” vibe will be listening to the amazing film soundtrack coming out on January 31stat the end of the month, unless you fancy a trip to England where the movie – hugely promoted on TV and on the streets – hits theatres this weekend.
