”W.E” to make pay tv debut on Netfix

the world’s leading internet subscription service for enjoying films and TV shows, will have instant and exclusive access to a selection of movies, documentaries and foreign language films from The Weinstein Company in the U.S. market as part of a multi-year licensing agreement that was announced today.
Among the movies that will appear exclusively on Netflix within one year of their theatrical release is “W.E.“, the romantic drama directed by Madonna and winner of the Golden Globe for Best Original Song/Motion Picture.
Also making their pay TV premiere on Netflix will be “The Artist,” “Undefeated,” “Sarah’s Key,” “The Intouchables,” “Coriolanus,” and “Bully,” a timely documentary about bullying in America’s schools. Terms of the deal, the first between The Weinstein Company and the world’s leading Internet subscription service for enjoying movies and TV shows, weren’t disclosed.
