Madonna’s and dancers party in Brooklyn
Madonna is said to have been watching like a ”proud mother” at her dancers giving an impromptu performance in Williamsburg’s Antica Pesa restaurant last Thursday, the New York Post reports.
Madonna, Lourders and Rocco, dressed down in a hat and glasses and wearing leather gloves arrived at gourmet outpost for once of her dancer’s birthdays, and the entire venue was turned into a dance floor after the cake dessert, with staff closing the venue’s curtains and moving table to make space.
“They started showcasing some of the moves from their MDNA tour,” the Post’s spy says. “The staff quickly moved the tables out of the way to turn the dining area into a dance floor, which got everyone clapping and cheering, including Madonna, who watched from a table.”.
The Queen of Pop’s love story with the Italian eatery started in June last year during the Italian leg of her MDNA Tour. When in Rome for the first of her three sold out concerts in the country, Madonna had been looking for the best of the classic Roman cuisine, and following the warm suggestion of a friend in the known surprised customers, onlookers and paparazzis by visiting the restaurant – in the historical neighbourhood of Trastevere – arriving and leaving on a scooter driven by her boyfriend Brahim Zaibat.
The Dark Knight Rises’s Tom Hardy was also at the Brooklyn outpost of the Roman restaurant that night and looked as surprised as the rest of the customers, a source said. After cutting a rug to Madonna’s tunes, the dancers “took a bow and hugged their boss, who approved like a proud mother.”
