Secret Project Revolution tops 1.2 mil downloads

In less than three weeks since its September 24 release, the Art for Freedom bundle has been downloaded more than 1.2 million times, according to the companies, Variety reports.

As the Tribers well know the bundle includes the 17-minute secretprojectrevolution film by Madonna and Steven Klein, along with special bonus features, including an interview with Vice chief creative officer Eddy Moretti.

And proving how once again Madonna is a pioneer, Vice, encouraged by the Art For Freedom project, now plans to release an upcoming series of BitTorrent Bundles starting in mid-November featuring original video content that will “explore the relationship between open expression and open technology,” providing original videos, music, archival content and behind-the-scenes footage directly from artists.
