Sunday Night Fever
John Travolta busted out his iconic Saturday Night Fever moves at Madonna‘s annual Oscar party on Sunday, the New York Post reports.
The newspaper’s insiders said that when the Bee Gees super hit “Stayin’ Alive” was played at the bash – which once again took place at Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary’s LA home – Travolta did the moves from the 1977 classic for which he was nominated for an Oscar, to guests’ delight an everyone “followed and started dancing”.
Madonna paied homage to the Saturday Night Fever disco glamour during her Confessions Tour back in 2006, performing a mash-up of “Music” and The Trammps’ “Disco Inferno“, dressed in the iconic Tony Manero white suit and black shirt outfit.
At Sunday’s night party, Madonna stunned her guests by wearing what her stylist Arianne Phillips called a “gorgeous to die for FW2013” dress by Joseph Altuzarra – and as you all know she posted a picture of herself looking fab on her Instagram profile the following day.
