The Madonna Portraits
Out of the six different illustrators of Madonna‘s first and original series of children’s book “The Dugins”, the illustrators of The Adventures of Abdi, were only ones not to release a portrait of the author in the style of their illustrations.
Jeffrey Fulvimari, Loren Long, Jennadi Spirin and Rui Paes all completed and released thier own Madonna portraits, inspired by
the themes and settings of the books they worked on.
MadonnaTribe was happy to premiere online the first three portraits at the time of release, courtesy of Callaway editions, and to show you the last one in the exclusive interview with artist Rui Paes. Let’s have a look at them once again in this Tribe Fact Of The Day.
If you missed them, here they are in release order: Madonna in the style of “The English Roses”, “Mr Peabody’s Apples”, “Yakov And The Seven Thieves” and “Lotsa De Casha”.
