The GLAAD Media Awards celebrate outstanding representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community and our allies on TV, in film, and in the news. These are the images and stories that bring us closer to equality. The Awards also support GLAAD’s work every day to grow acceptance and understanding of LGBT people. From working alongside an Ohio mom to put an end to the Boy Scouts of America’s anti-gay policies to helping LGBT families across the country share their stories of love and commitment with millions, GLAAD is leading the conversation for LGBT equality.
